Having only created restricted size advertisements for many years, I wanted to venture out with my own designs. These are personal projects of made up companies and faux editorials I created.
Human Trafficking Flyer
I wanted to create a flyer for Human Trafficking awareness with the idea that I may post it one day on social media or in a public space such as a city hall. I randomly picked an organization out there to use as the core of my design, then started researching the facts to include on the poster. I am currently looking for an organization that I can possibly donate my design to help spread the message to its local citizens.
Magazine Layout
Having previously worked for an advertising and publishing company, I created a personal project for myself with the “what if”. I love sight seeing and traveling to lesser known places. So what if there was a magazine for that? I picked a place from my childhood which has now been transformed into a public park. Looking up a lot of old photos and writing a few paragraphs of my own memories and experiences. For the cover art, I used a photograph of mine from my own travels.
Branding Mockup
Not having many clients at the moment, I wanted practice some branding. I made up a fake home security company and created a theme to many surfaces that a real company would use such as stationery for mailing, business cards, promotional and presentation items and a mock mobile app. The mobile app was the most challenging of this set up, however, I’m extremely pleased with the outcome!
